 > Caprile (5.4 km)How to reach the gorge: 5.4 Kilometers after leaving Caprile you will reach Sottoguda. If you are in doubt, look for a wrought iron craft shop (La Fosina, ferro battuto) that have displayed several large birds along the road (see image at right). About 200 meters after the woodpecker the main road turns left. Here, drive straight ahead into the old village and follow the cobblestone road. The approximately 2 km long gorge starts after the last house of the village. The gorge road is closed to all motorized traffic. Close this window to return to the Passo di Giau & Falzarego page.
